IT IS TIME.....
for those reading, you will hear FESTIVAL OF THE LION KING in your head when you read that. Didn't you?
You should have, however, moving on.
I haven't changed my glasses in 4 years, IT IS TIME.
Sorry. :( couldn't resist
However, my current glasses, which I AM STILL IN LOVE WITH although they are worn well, need to be retired.
I LOVE them, I get complimented DAILY on them. Truly, they are amazing.
I purposely spent time planning and searching for exactly what I wanted.
When I was hired by Walt Disney, I made it known from day 1, I AM GETTING D&G GLASSES. I knew I would have a job that would afford me to do it so that was what I was going to do. I could imagine them in my head, it was INCREDIBLE.
I bought them and was DELIGHTED.
Times have changed let me assure you. When I was younger, they practically had to TIE my glasses onto my head.
When I grew older, I started to appreciate them. I tried contacts, I tried NOT wearing them but I ALWAYS went back to wearing them and now, I wouldn't be caught DEAD without them.
Now, after 4 years of these beauties, they are about t retire.
So, I have booked the appointment at the Optometrist, I have tried on frames, even came up with 2 pairs I LOVE. Did I mention I didn't realize one of them are MEN'S FRAMES???
DO I CARE?
I want to have what I LOVE.
The place I tried them on failed to tell me they have a BUY 1 GET 1 program......
WHO'S GETTING BOTH PAIRS????????
