Relentless winter

We look at Winter in Canada as something that we MUST go through of course but we certainly DREAM of other places......warmer.......sunnier, sandyier.....
Is that a word?
For a Canadian it certain it
For the first full winter back in Canada, Mother Nature sure has kicked my ASS with the white stuff.
WOW!
Moncton has received SO much, records have been recorded. OF COURSE THEY HAVE

However, I have never forgotten the warmth of home. The smell of the sunshine filled days, the wary the sand feels lingering between my toes, the way the water softy sloshes around my ankles.
My friend Angela has reminded me Key West was one of our very best road trips......
A few days in the sun, spent with a great friend, millions of memories were made that I will NEVER, EVER forget.
Those times were fun, joyful and made my heart SING.
We did things we never thought we would ever push ourselves to do.
For example, crossing a 7 mile bridge, para sailing and dropping all in inhibitions and going with life.

So, to Angela I say........me thinks I am ready for a ROAD TRIP Version 2011
Bring on the Orange sunsets and the warmth of Floridian sunshine
