As the time ticks by........

Hey everyone.............how are y'all doin? I am still here, in Toronto...starting to freeze my arse of I ain't gonna lie to you.
Yesterday I woke up....walked out into my living room and I see this white stuff fallin from the skies and think......HONESTLY? Come on now!!
So I have been patient.....waitin for the GOOD STUFF to come!!
I have been given a blow from Fairmont telling me that the FULL TIME POSITION I have has been depleting hours. When I would ASSUME that I had 40 hours to make me FULL TIME, has now gone to 8 bloody hours per WEEK!!
I hear the gasps of disapproval from everyone right now and trust me...I could have been blow over with a LEAF when I got the news. So because we are a CORPORATE hotel and NOT a destination location, this means that occupancy drops drastically!! Drastic is the UNDERSTATEMENT of the YEAR here! Never, EVER assume ANYTHING when it comes to employement folks. It gets you into some tough times as it has for me.
The solution I am told is the find a PART TIME position somehwere that will get me through the rough patches and once spring hits...we are GOLDEN!!
Well, although I am VERY diasppointed that NO ONE was honest with us when we were hired and let us know about the low occupancy and that we would NOT be working a full 40 hours per week....I don't know if I can afford my rent never mind FOOD.....I am OK!!
I am POSITIVE here and although some would have cashed in and quit and got something else...I see MORE with this company. I see my FUTURE and I doubt that most can honestly see this when they look at potential employers. Disney is my FUTURE as well...do NOT get me wrong.....that can't be denied....I EAT, SLEEP and BREATH Disney....however the Fairmont will give me a way BACK to the USA!!
