So many getaways planned.........where do I begin?

June 2008 Nova Scotia.............beach shots....it was pretty cold there I must admit but NOTHIN could drag me away from hitting the beach....ONE can dream right?

Greetings friends and I hope that this message finds everyone well!! I hope your spending time with friends & family and having a BLAST!!

I am letting everyone know about my spur of the moment MINI vacation to Nova Scotia!! Ran in the door last Friday night from work and the phone was ringing!! My mother was on the line asking me if I was able to get out TONIGHT for a wee visit for the weekend?? Me thinking she is CRAZY.....I laughed and continued the conversation!! She was SO serious!! My father had suggested it and was hell bent on getting me home....as a FATHER'S DAY gift to himself!! HAHAH
Friday the 13th......off I went to the airport....I have to be there in 25 minutes to check in!! DONE!!
Board the plane.....CHECK!! Waiting to lift off....CHECK!! Still WAITING here.....


2 hours LATER we are in the air!! NOT happy but I was NOT going to be at home ALONE For the weekend........

Arrive in Nova Scotia......CHECK!! It is merely 3:45am when we arrive back at my rents house......CHECK!! SO TIRED.........but VERY excited to be there.....seems to be a VERY QUICK DREAM.......

In the end.....it was a WONDERFUL trip home!! My parents look GREAT, their house is SO cute!! They look SO happy I have to admit that!! It was wonderful to see them so happy and cozy in the house and having me home I guess was the icing on the last few months for them!!!

I arrived home in Toronto Monday evening...and now I seem to have schedule from HELL at work!! 8 STRAIGHT DAYS ..........back to reality, the DREAM is OVER kid!!!


I have to admit that this was certainly NOT the trip I had been planning but I was SO HAPPY And BLESSED to go!!

Disney trip is coming FAST!! August 1st is not that far away now and I am struggling to keep it together and NOT freak out!! This means SO much and although it will NEVER be the SAME ..........it is very exciting for me to be back after working there for a year. Things have changed and it will be SO different but VERY exciting!!

Birthday plans are coming together as well!!
As most of you might know......the Birthday has not been a GREAT time of my life since my brother's passing.......but last year....being away from home......being ALONE........my friends decided for me that it was time to give me a BIRTHDAY TO REMEMBER!! They succeeded!! It was WONDERFUL!! So this year....not being in Florida.....I decided I wanted to re-live the MAGIC in a different way!!
Front Row seats for a SONG WRITERS NIGHT.......a wine tour.......friends by my side!!
