KEY WEST.....MIAMI........road trip baby!!

So Angela & I just arrived home from our road trip South.....GOD we drove SO much but had SO much fun!! Where to begin.......only had like 3 days off.....make em count I said!!

Left MONDAY NIGHT .......YA thanksgiving night........after we had a GIANT dinner at the restaurant.....thank you Le Cellier for a WONDERFUL turkey dinner. OFF WE GO!!

Midnight and we are OFF!! Our plan....get to Miami as soon as possible......spend Tuesday morning touring around Miami and then get a jump on KEY WEST!! Angela drove ALL NIGHT to get to Miami at 5am......that was GREAT!! I was out of it....honestly......I worked and then packed and headed out ......Miami is VERY sexy!! Lots of cool looking buildings and the beach.....SO nice!!

What did we want to do .....MIAMI INK for me!! I WORSHIP that place and I HAD to have my photo taken in front of the store.....perhaps getting a glimpse of AMI.........OF COURSE it was CLOSED!! When you arrive in Miami at 5am.....then eat breakfast...you NEVER assume at 8am that the boys would be at the store. PS....they do NOT open till noon people just in case you wanted to know!!

OFF to KEY WEST!! What an incredible journey!! Ya ya....I slept for a little while...THANK GOD I DID!! Ang was falling asleep and would NEVER tell me.......so between the driving on the shoulder of the road and the QUIET DROOPY eyes.....I suggested we pull over for gas......Tracey is also going to DRIVE NOW!! TEE HEE.........I got the opportunity to drive in KEY WEST!! CRAZY PLACE!! WOW!! Random roosters running around the streets........crowing and cackling.....RANDOM!! Then the scooters....the streets are so bloody narrow that it is TRULY the only way to get around......NO I DID NOT rent one!! I have had my FILL of scooters thank you very much!! I HATE THEM!!

Find a hotel....then go eat!! That was the plan.......MERLIN INN.......quaint little place......EXPENSIVE but hell...we are in KEY WEST BABY......everything is pretty expensive there!! GAS....$3 a gallon!!

Get the room.....$117.00 for a QUEEN BED and a SHOWER.....WOW!! Was clean at least and right off Duval St. OH DUVAL......THAT is where the party is people!! We went for dinner and drove around.....seeing the sights........doing SUNSET is AMAZING THERE!! People EVERYWHERE......watiting.....taking TONS of photos........buskers around the harbour.......was really nice!!

Going to bed early, seriously!! I was asleep by 9pm!! Was TRYING to watch the Leaf's game on the telly....PS when I fell asleep it was 3-1 for Carolina........I was told afterwards by my mother they lost....7-1 DAMN THE LEAF'S!!

Up we got......early to rise to have a breakfast at the hotel and to PARA SAIL!! That's right..........I went PARA SAILING PEOPLE!!!

OH MY GOD.....it was SO MUCH FUN!! Was SO beautiful up there..........twas a GREAT TIME!! PS....for anyone that knows what this means......DB was reincarnated!! YIKES!! The guy driving the boat WAS DB....well a version of him!!

Leave the Key's after an AMAZING 24 hours.....SHORT you may say but when you have SO many places to visit....you get in....do what you gotta do.....GET THE HELL OUTTA THERE!!!

Naples, Clearwater......Marco Island....WASTE OF MY TIME!! BA HA HA HA Don't go there....NOTHING TO SEE....

Treasure Island.....WASTE OF TIME.....HARD TO FIND!!!

So many fun times.....SO great to spend some time with Angela again.........THANK YOU COUCH for the wonderful couple of days........can't WAIT till the next road trip!!
