So your probably in the KNOW already out my birthday!! If not....it was yesterday and MAN did I have a BLAST!! The mere fact that I am BLESSED enough to be here.....working for Walt Disney World is present enough....but to be able to spend the DAY at Magic Kingdom........enjoy the park and then go have an INCREDIBLE meal with friends at Le Cellier........my pavilion.......truly who could have asked for ANYTHING better??
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone that sent birthday wishes......the cards.....gifts....everything....THANK YOU!! I really wish I could have had EVERYONE that I love so much together with me....here to celebrate......but I assure you...I have a GREAT TIME!!
Started my day out with a breakfast of champions at McDonald's.....sorry but I REALLY love their breakfast......Jen & Sass & I ate quickly and then headed out to Magic Kingdom....seriously where ELSE would I go???? Got my Birthday button and headed out in the park!! I wanted to see "Dream Along with Mickey" stage show.......SO badly......started at 10:40 and we rushed over to the castle to watch!! NOT going to lie....was VERY disappointed that they simply came out and sang ONE bloody song and then greeted guests at the foot of the castle for photos.......I guess it was FAR to hot to preform!! NOT happy about that.....I mean it is my FAVOURITE!! Oh well.....moving on!!
SPACE MOUNTAIN!! Ya baby.....GOD How I LOVE that ride!! We get on and I FORGOT to warn Jen about Sass.....she is HYSTERICAL when you take her on rides....she laughs SO hard and SO loud....you wonder if she is going to make it.........I thought Jen was going to DIE!! Jen & I were laughing SO hard listening to Sass it HURT when we got off the ride!! I SHOULD HAVE worn the Depends........I had ALOT of livin to do yesterday I tell ya!!
Moving on to my photos with THE BOSS!! Ya we headed to TOONTOWN to get a glimpse of Mickey..........it was AWESOME!! He hugged me alot....kissed me....pointed at my Birthday Button and jumped up and down and waving his arms in the air.....he seemed SO excited for me.....I DID NOT cry either....misted alittle but I held it together!!
Headed off to Phillharmagic but got side tracked with Mary Poppins......ya she was SO super sweet!! Got our photos with her.....she wished me a "JOLLY GOOD DAY"!! She is SO cute!!
Went and got seats for my Phillharmagic and got dirty looks from other guests as I sang RIGHT THROUGH the entire show as I ALWAYS do....get over it......I CAN SING WELL And it's MY Birthday..........
Off to look at Haunted Mansion!! It is under re-hab for the entire summer but I wanted to see the note left about WHAT is going on.....photo to follow on that!!
Then we managed to go and all get MATCHING SHIRTS.....ya we are SUCH dorks.........ORANGE BILLABONG!!! Hey what other colour did you expect me to get????? We looked SO cute....off for the usual DOLE WHIP.....God it was SO good and besides........it was a mere 100 degrees outside we needed SOMETHING to keep us hydrated!! Got our photos taken with Timon & Rafiki and that was HYSTERICAL!! Timon was TRYING to take me backstage??? Not sure why...the other guests were getting really upset that we were walking away...WHATEVA...the guy wants me!!!
Then off to Pirates to show Sass what she has been missing!! That was fun and then we HAD to get over to watch the Parade at 3pm.....I had the VERY BEST Time during the parade!! NOT ONLY did we have WET T-SHIRT contests as the heavens OPENED RIGHT UP as the parade started......I got GREAT Birthday greetings from ALL my favourite Characters.....Mickey blew me a kiss and waved at me........one of the singers STOPPED singing to wish me a very happy birthday and the BEST.....I mean SERIOUSLY....the very BEST thing that could have happened.......
the FAIRY GODMOTHER....with whom I hold in VERY high regard.......waved her magic wand ALL OVER ME ....and granted me a VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY.........told me my wishes were ALL going to come true.........BAWLED!! Ya I did!! That was SO magical I could have NEVER asked for a better day!!
Well, parade over we have to GET HOME.....pronto.......I mean we have reservations at the VERY BEST restaurant at Disney right.......got to get there on TIME!! I work there and all...don't want to give a bad impression!! Run home.....and POOF.....I am wearing my TIARA and my ballgown and I am heading to dinner!!
MAGICAL! Well after the ENTIRE bottle of ICE WINE was drank out of a STRAW it was.....now I MAY sound like an alcoholic here but I ASSURE YOU.....I am CERTAINLY NOT and I can only say.......MAN can I HOLD my booze......I had a MANGO surprise......that is a mango smoothie with TONS of vodka in it.......the BOTTLE of ICE WINE.....and then a glowtini......YUMMY!! Managed to have what.....a couple of bites of my mixed field greens salad.....HALF of my filet Mignon.....and then what....ONE bite of my creme brule and about 4 bites of my cake....which by the way was AMAZING!! There....dinner is DONE!! We are now heading outside...what to do now??? Text Don.....manager of the UK pavilion......can I come over and watch Illuminations over there I ask???? YES GET OVER HERE he says......ok off I ran.......Sass & I arrived while everyone else was finishing paying for dinner and getting their gear.......got the VERY BEST seats for Illuminations and had some WILD drink......a DRAGONFLY??? Suppose to be a specialty at the UK?? Whatever it was really sweet....GROSS in my opinion..........
Managed to leave WALKING and ended the night at JELLYROLLS.....dueling piano bar....can you EVEN imagine!!
Brain....I wanted to to simply say....WORDS WILL NEVER express how much I THANK YOU for my night!!! TRULY WAS MAGICAL!! NO that was NOT the ice wine......I had a VERY MAGICAL birthday and I am much appreciating ALL that you did!! Had a GREAT time!!!
For the mere thoughts of spending a birthday at Disney.....I would have NEVER changed a thing.........
and she lived HAPPILY for the rest of her stay......
