WOW can you even BELIEVE I ate Buffalo tonight?? Holy COW!! TEE HEE....well I just got home for ANOTHER stellar night out at Disney with friends!! Jessica( My BIG SISTER), Nitza, Matt & Eva & I went to dinner at "Artist's Point" at the Disney Wilderness Lodge!! All I have to say is WOW!! The restaurant is OK in their decor but the food....MAGNIFICENT!! Truly was!! I has to say......some place you MUST try if your into trying new things which by the way....if you KNOW ME....I am CERTAINLY NOT that person but during my stay here at Disney.....I have turned over a new leaf and decided to TRY new things here!! SO glad I decided that.....dinner consisted of a glass of Riesling.....HOLY COW I drank the entire glass with a MICKEY STRAW....yeah I have shocked NO ONE here right??? It was DELICIOUS and that was paired with a salad that reminded us all of our mixed field greens however ours is FAR BETTER!!
Then we had the buffalo which was VERY TENDER and TASTY!! Not going to lie to you!! Then we moved to dessert and I tried their BRAND NEW Peach dish....was OK but the ICE WINE was AMAZING!! I got 4 glasses to taste......TWAS IN HEAVEN I tell ya!! Yes ROXIE you would have been OH SO PROUD OF YOUR FRIEND TRACEY TONIGHT!! Good lawrdy I was hysterical!! Asked the server to give it to me with the 4 STRAWS and he howled at me!! Never got it either just for the record books!! You only got a 1 OZ pour as well for each....it was a TASTING FOLKS......but a damn good one if you ask me!! They have some interesting ice wines but NONE compares to you Mission Hill that we serve at LE CELLIER.......
Afterwards they took me for a tour of the courtyard out back by the pool.....photos will come I PROMISE!! The hotel itself TOTALLY reminded me of the Casino Rama hotel....twas rustic but made me TOTALLY miss home and my friends I have left behind!! But our employees were FAR MORE friendlier and our hotel feels cozy...this one was OVERWHELMING!! Was very pretty though and had some PRETTY COOL stuff inside.....a geyser and a spring that ran through the LOBBY!!!
Thanks to everyone for an AMAZING evening....PS Jessimica....ya I had a TON of wine tonight and was FINE......funny how you ALMOST dumped your plate in your LAP......and yes clearly the Disney standard to bus tables is 6 MINUTES not the 20 something HE took......I can do it and so should he!!
I am TOTALLY looking forward to another fun night out ladies......
