Well Culinary day came and went.....GOD I thought I was going to PUKE people!! WOW!! So much food to eat. SO LITTLE TIME TOO!! Shardey( one of my arrival group gals from Canada) and I had to SPLIT our time as there was two of us doing the day together. So, I was victim #2 and we had a rotation to follow for the day!! Chef Brian was leaving for the day so he gave us orders to follow and then we were pretty much on our OWN!! YIPPEE!! Butcher, prep work....baker.......sautee line.....pantry.....expo...holy cow I hate SO much....did I mention that already?
And YES Adam.....it was TOTALLY creme brule time!! I got the opportunity to make my OWN creme brule to TRY.....TRY....hell I LOVE EM and that is the ONLY dessert I eat when I am in our restaurant!! I got to learn about our appies and how our entrees get put out........It was an EXCITING DAY and I am SO happy we got to do it because it is SO going to help with us studying the menus and learning what exactly eat dish is!!
So, after I got home I decided I NEEDED to have a few drinks to loosen up alittle!! This has been an awe fully LONG week so it was something I NEEDED!! Couch, Jane, Greg and Brian and I decided to go to HOB for the night!! WOW...big night out for Ma and Pa!! Cracks me up!! Although Brian and I ARE the older of the crew here........we can show up the YOUNGEST of our crew for the records!! And for the friends at home......YOU are LAUGHING cause YOU KNOW ME!! Well House of Blues was EVERYTHING I thought it would be......and that is the LAST TIME I go there!! BA HA HA It was a meat market OF COURSE , complete with booty shakin dancers on the stage.....NO POLES were involved but God knows there SHOULD have been!! WE met up with alot of Canadians and you know what......I DO NOT miss those bar days!! It is the very SAME in Canada as it is here in the States.....SLIMY guys rubbing up on ya and that were the fellow Canadians............
Nice to know that I had 3 "GENTLEMEN" try to talk me up.......SO not interested!! But it was hysterical to watch them!!
So with 4 out of the 5 of us alittle tipsy....we managed to LEAVE Greg at the bar and we came home for some good old fashioned CANADIAN KD!! Nothing says after bar snack like alittle Kraft dinner folks!! YUMMY!!!
Off to work now......I will see what other fun and exciting things I can do TODAY!!

The bar's are the same in any country! That will never change! But I still like to go...some drinks, some dancing, some girlfriend time! It's all good man! Talk to Lauren briefly yesterday...all is well in her world. I'll tell her you said hi. And I don't care what anyone says...KD Rocks!
